My book is called My Sister Jodie. Jodie is a bold, brash bad girl who is the older sister of Pearl. She is always misbehaving and does not listen to her parents.
Pearl is the younger sister of Jodie. She is anxious, shy and small, and looks up to her sister and adores her.
In this story, Pearl realises that she does not need her sister as much as she thinks she does. However, Jodie needs her, so when fireworks night comes and a tragic event occurs, Pearl finds herself struggling and in trouble - she needs her after all! This story is about how people get on with each other, and how much you need your family.
